Behind the Beans: How Tambia Coffee Supports Education in Colombia

At Tambia, we believe coffee can—and should—create meaningful change. That's why we’re proud to support our charity Oro Molido Foundation, a non-profit that works directly in the coffee-growing communities of Colombia where our beans are grown.

Here’s what that looks like in action:

🎶 Music as a Path to Peace

Through the Music & Harmony program, over 595 students in rural areas affected by violence are trained in choir, orchestra, and marching band. Music becomes more than an art form—it’s a bridge to confidence, creativity, and hope.

📚 Learning Without Limits

In the Sierra Nevada, the SÉ Library & Cultural Center is giving rural kids access to books, art, and safe cultural spaces for the first time. It’s a haven for creativity, built where it’s needed most.

🏫 Education That Goes the Distance

In the coffee region of Antioquia, Colegio Nueva Paideia is a new model for high school education that prepares rural youth for university and entrepreneurship—creating a ripple of positive change across 23 municipalities.

🎓 Scholarships That Stay Rooted

Through higher education scholarships, we’re investing in students with the drive to succeed—and stay connected to their communities as future leaders.

This is the heart of Tambia. Great coffee, grounded in purpose.
